I really don’t see why a bride should have two dresses, for the different parts of the wedding. If you buy the wedding dress to wear it just for a couple of hours, then it’s a waste of money. I attended my brother’s wedding last autumn and my sister in law did exactly this:she bought a very elaborate wedding dress she is no longer going to wear, wore it for almost three hours and then changed into another expensive dress for the reception. I find this just a whim and nothing else. I think there are so many wedding gown designs that allow a person to feel elegant and sophisticated as well as very comfortable. So, just one dress for the two parts of the wedding. At least I am going to do that.
