Wedding Dresses With Sleeves

When it comes to start looking for your wedding dress, and you`ve decided to go with one with  sleeves , you will have second thoughts as “it’s too old-fashioned”, “it’s too dowdy”, but, the first thing that will come in mind will be that it’s very hard to find.

Once you have decided to go all the way in buying a wedding dress with sleeves, you will start thinking where to get it or how much it will cost. Right?  Some ladies have specific reasons when it comes to buying this kind of dress, it could be because they are religious or they might not feel very comfortable with their physical appearance, and thus, choose such a dress.

The first step when buying a wedding dress with sleeves is to think about what season you’ll be wearing it in. Thus you can decide if you`ll have a light dress, with transparent sleeves, made from a soft material, or even lace,if you are aiming for an extra bit of class and refinement, or, if you have your wedding set for winter, there`s a wide variety of velvets and double satins out there, and maybe you can even find a model with a discrete fur collar, to keep you all warmed up.

After deciding the wedding date, which must be set at least 14-16 weeks prior ordering the wedding dress, because if you go for online shipment, you might want to give the package time to arrive, so as to avoid any additional costs, you will have to start thinking about what kind of look do you want to have, and what type of dress you need, according to your body`s shape.

Here we have a chart with different sleeve models, so you can easily choose which one you consider right for you:

There`s a large variety of models for wedding dresses, starting from plain one piece dresses, and going sky high to sumptuous princess like dresses, with lace covered silk, Swarovsky crystal inserts and so on. Basically there is no boundary or limitation whatsoever to the creativity that you or your tailor can display.

Fairy-tale wedding dresses are the dresses that every woman thinks about. Many designers reveal their art in haute couture shows world wide, underlining the woman`s elegance and romantic side, combined with the modern and independent one, in the most skillful of ways , but then again, simple and elegant wedding dresses, the ones with a classic design ,with plain and with simple cuts, will look as gorgeous on any woman, as the designers themselves state.

Accessorizing a long sleeved dress is a very important part as well, and is best to be made only with a necklace and earrings, especially if the sleeves are long, because we don`t want to get an overcrowded look and feel, our main goal being simplicity and charm, and our desired outcome being the beauty and elegance of a woman, in what will most likely be the most beautiful day of her life.

Thank you for the sleeve chart here, I really needed it because I never thought of asking someone what this sleeve type is called. And I have to say I don’t read fashion magazines and stuff like this. But I am getting married and I want to look good, special, so I want to make sure I will choose the perfect type of sleeve for me and that fits the line of the dress. However, I am very attracted to poet type of sleeves, I found them very romantic and I think that if they are made of a very transparent fabric they are fit for a warmer season as well as for a colder one. I just like sleeves and I can’t imagine a beautiful and perfect wedding dress without them.
