It’s not hard but not that easy either to plan a vintage bridal look. You must be very careful with the details and the embroideries because the secret of the old glamorous style lies in these particular details.

You don’t have to worry about satin because it is sleek, dainty, select, exquisite, refined, soft, delicate, shiny and bright enough to suit a glamorous fashionable antique themed wedding. Look at these images with vintage satin wedding dresses and tell us what you think of this style. If you can’t find the inspiration you need to plan your own wedding dress from these pics, why not browse for more on the internet?
You can also find on our website more articles on the “vintage or antique style wedding dresses” subject so perhaps you can pick one form there. Satin was one of the most popular types of fabrics used in old eras in wedding dresses. Even today you can find spectacular tea length simple vintage satin wedding dresses with all kinds of modern high necks, bateau necks, empire waists or halter necks.

If you’re not feeling comfortable wearing a shorter tea length or ballerina length vintage satin wedding dress perhaps you can go with a full length that features a beautiful and timelessly romantic sweetheart halter or strapless neckline that can really help you pull that marvelous fascinating glamorous Hollywood look.
The most common types of vintage satin wedding dresses or satin wedding dresses in general are mermaid styles, A-line or princess styles, ball gown styles, tea length styles or sheath column styles. For the dress to look more vintage you can choose an off white shade.

Whether you find a more creamy-white shade for the dress, whether you choose an ivory shade, your looks will be complete. You can also choose from other nuances that resemble the vintage style such as ecru, champagne, cream, beige, peach or pale pink and blush. For a fancy antique themed wedding in Chicago this type of dress can look magical!
I believe you’re right. A wedding gown doesn’t necessarily have to be the most glamorous, the most elegant, the most exquisite. These three dresses here are quite nice and I believe they are also affordable for a low to medium budget wedding. They are elegant, the last two are kind of traditional in line, the first one more modern. But the satin used just gives them refinement, while their simplicity make them feminine and elegant. I especially like the firs dress, with a one shoulder strap. It just makes your silhouette be so slim and elegant. And the crystal brooch is the best accessory for the dress. It gives the gown a plus of femininity and modernism. I think I might just buy the model. Do you know where I could find it?
