efore you dismiss the idea completely, think of the many advantages presented by a unique simple wedding dress. First of all, a simple, casual and modern and loose flowing or short wedding dress is less expensive, compared to a traditional elaborated, sophisticated, layered and heavy wedding dress, and therefore more affordable for your tight wedding budget. Every bride is looking for ways, tips and tricks to save some money for the wedding budget, so this is a chance for you to do that and still look of millions of dollars.
More and more modern brides seem to fancy more a natural, organic, breezy or mini short unique simple wedding dress rather than a fluffy, intricate and voluminous ball gown wedding dress. Since destination wedding affairs are gaining more and more popularity among couples of today, wedding dress designers are creating more and more casual, chic, ethereal sexy unique simple wedding dress designs and styles that can fit any type of body figure.

Among the most popular types of unique simple wedding dresses you can find those tea-length, knee-length or above the knee length cocktail wedding dresses that usually come with a low back, with a high neckline, halter neckline, strapless, one-shoulder or off the shoulder neckline. It all depends on what style and shape fits you best, and you should know that the range of possibilities is getting wider and wider.
Among the most fashionable, hot and trendy colors that you can find for unique simple wedding dresses are those pastel or skin toned ones, such as pale, light or baby pink, light blue, azure, turquoise, cream, ivory, emerald or lime green, egg-white, light yellow or peachy, or those dramatic, bolder and vibrant ones, like purple, dark ultramarine blue, navy blue, burnt orange, forest or olive green, hot pink, red, fuchsia, burgundy or brown.
In general, what makes a simple wedding dress look more unique are the embroideries or the embellishment items like ribbons, bows, appliqués, sequins, crystals, diamonds, pearls and beadings, rhinestones or precious stones, gems, feathers, ruffles or any other matching jewelry that can be attached to the dress or simply worn to enrich and brighten up your natural bridal look.
I kind of like the idea of wearing something simple and casual. I’ve seen so many brides that wore those traditional, layered wedding dresses you mentioned and they didn’t know how to get rid of them quicker. Or they had so many embroideries and beads and… whatever they had on their dresses and they had troubles with those as well. So I began thinking of my own wedding dress and I said that I want something simpler, with no layers, just very little voluminous, and if I wanted something to look like embroideries, I’d go for lace. But the fact remains that I need something very simple, not at all sophisticated, comfortable but chic. And I know that this means cheaper, since all the extra money you pay for a wedding gown goes for all those details that require extra work.
