Unique Black Wedding Dresses

The wide range of styles, designs, themes and colors for today’s wedding dress fashion makes the bride’s choice more efficient. There is no reprise anymore to see a bride wearing black on her wedding day. Those days when women were damned to wear only white gowns on their wedding day are long gone.

Wearing a unique black wedding dress on your wedding day might not look like breaking a taboo or something. The contrary, it should be a sign of maturity, modernism, uniqueness, style, class and taste in fashion.

The unconventional wedding affairs are gaining in popularity now that so many contemporary brides seem to fancy the idea of wearing a more provocative, distinctive, non traditional and unusual wedding dress. Among other vibrant, dynamical and bold colors incorporated into the wedding dress today, such as red, fuchsia, hot pink, emerald green, olive green, navy blue, deep orange, peachy, brown, magenta or burgundy we find the black wedding dress too. Why not choosing a unique black wedding dress for a dark themed wedding and look incredibly hot, mysterious, eye-catching, sexy, chic, stylish and uniquely romantic?

The best context or wedding theme for a unique black wedding dress could be a Gothic themed wedding, a punk, rock, metal or Halloween wedding. Not every bride dreams of a fairy-tale, juicy and Barbie girl white or pink wedding dress. Modern brides understand the notion of “romanticism” in many ways.

Black is special, sensual, sleek, refined, dainty and distinctive and has a certain romanticism hidden in its uniqueness. If you’re one of those Black Night brides of 2010, you should definitely opt for a superb, stunning, courageous and cosmopolitan unique black wedding dress for your big wedding day and look truly remarkable and memorable.

They say that only bold brides “afford” to wear a unique black wedding dress, but there are various ways to incorporate hints of black colors in a white wedding dress and make it look more daring and striking as well. So, if you don’t fancy a complete full black wedding gown, opt for black sashes, wraps, boleros, ribbons, bows, floral, butterfly or any other romantic motifs, black lace, sequins, crystals, rhinestones, gems or diamonds appliqués.

Wear a pair of black gloves to create a splendid contrast with a white wedding dress, or vice versa. Black and white wedding dresses are also at rage these days. They look incredibly chic, stylish, dramatic, classy and romantic. Wear one on a vintage, antique or retro wedding day and combine a traditional look with a more modern and yet classy bridal look. For a more vibrant, exotic, wild, bold, striking and yet feminine, sensual, delicate, romantic and unique look, incorporate red, fuchsia, orange, pink or yellow patterns, embroideries, floral motifs or other matching accessories.
