If you have decided to wear a summer wedding dress there are several things you shouldn’t do. You should avoid the followings:
Multiple layers, underskirts or crinolines that will make you feel like you are in an oven.
Don’t wear details that will make the dress heavier than it already is. The dress will cling to the skin and it won’t be comfortable at all.
Don’t wear heavy fabrics; they aren’t best friends with the powerful summer sun. Fabrics like: velvet, fur, brocade or satin are too thick for the summer sun.

Jewelry: Don’t wear metal jewelry it will get very hot in the sun. It will be unbearable to wear. A lot of brides choose a string of pearls or other simple pieces of jewelry. Gloves: some brides skip gloves but some funky ones opt for fingerless cooler designs.
Veils: You know that the wedding veil is a must in wedding attire. Think that is summer and it might be too much for you to wear a long wedding veil. Opt for a smaller pretty one. One that will go perfectly with your summer wedding dress. Shoes: it’s summer so wear sandals or fancy flip flops. If your wedding is at the beach you can even skip the shoes part. Feel the sand and feel free.
