In general, empire waist wedding dresses can be seen a lot on casual natural weddings spent outside the doors. This style is wonderful for all the brides who have a smaller petite figure, as well as for those who are dealing with an undefined waist line.

On the other hand, the chic sheath style wedding dress is recommended to all the women who are thin figured as well as for brides with a smaller height. If we are to say that the sheath style is also suggested for brides with an hourglass figure, you might wonder why we mixed the empire waist and the sheath style together in a single wedding dress if one style is recommended for a certain type of body while the other one is not!
Well, first of all, we should say that hour glass figured brides who wish to hide the stomach area, from different reason – one would be a pregnancy, the sheath empire waist wedding dress works beautifully.

The sheath style should be avoided though by brides who have short waists or a thick figure. Full figure brides must also stay away from the sheath style, but as we said before in other articles: you’ll never know how a wedding dress looks on you until you try it on!
