Second Wedding Wedding Dresses

There is a big number of divorced brides who are looking to get married again and are not sure what types of second wedding wedding dresses are “allowed” for them. The first thing that you need to do, if you are in this situation, is to ignore all these preconceived etiquettes and sayings about how a encore bride should not wear that or this, or do that and this.

Any type of bride, either divorcee, petite, full figure or pregnant, is free to wear the wedding dress of her dream, be it white, black, short, casual, sexy, simple or unconventional. The range of available designs, styles, themes, colors, fabrics and patterns for modern wedding dresses of all types is substantially getting wider. Therefore, before you end up overwhelmed and with your heart broken because of all these sayings and old fashion dress codes, you must sit down with yourself and think wisely over what you would want and prefer to wear.

Don’t mind anyone else’s business concerning your choice in the best wedding dresses for you and just stick to what you have in mind. There are many styles for white second wedding wedding dresses that you can opt for and you should not be afraid or ashamed to consider one. It all depends on what you think that can fit you best and be more suitable for your new encore bride condition.

It’s very important to follow your intuition and pick only that wedding dress that can make you feel confident in your skin, comfortable and consistent with the formality of the wedding and with its theme, color-scheme, location or season. If the wedding is planned for a casual and natural beach location you must adapt to the exotic and relaxed backdrop and wear something informal, practical and shorter. A great choice for encore destination brides is the knee length wedding dress.

Not too long and “innocent”, not too short and sexy, not too formal or sophisticated, a knee length second wedding wedding dress might be an excellent choosing. You can even plan a theme for the wedding, just to be able to wear the second wedding dress with color accents or a fully colored encore wedding dress. Keep in mind that adding subtle or bold color accents to your wedding dress could be a very inspired thing to do considering that colors and wedding dresses are in vogue these years.

Keep it simple, not too extravagant, elaborated and too complex, just to obtain that natural, chic, refined and stylish look that suits any modern bride, mature or young. Assuming that your life experience has changed your personal style, tastes and preferences, you should consider yourself more mature and secure on whatever you will choose to be your beloved wedding dress.

One Response to Second Wedding Wedding Dresses

  1. Maria Fisk says:

I am looking forward to my second wedding. And I already fought against all these codes you are talking about. They are so many and some of them absurd. But this will be the last wedding of my life. And I am still very young. And I have just one dream: to wear a white dress, a long one, very chic. When I first married we didn’t have enough money to offer us what we wished for. So I had a very simple dress that I wore on different other occasions as well. But now, my new husband and I can afford more and he agrees that if I want a white chic dress I should have it, no matter what others say. So for every bride who doesn’t know what to do, Follow your heart. It’s your wedding, not theirs.
