Second Wedding Dresses
First we are going to talk about the color of your second wedding dress. Don't wear white? Why not? Where is it written that a second bride is not an allowed to wear white second wedding dress? I believe nowhere. These are just non-written rules that we made up, so should they count more than what you actually desire? Think about this and while thinking you should know something: the tradition of the white wedding is less than 200 years old. The Queen of Britain began this trend, The white wedding dress was a symbol of wealth and happiness in the 1900s, involving the idea that the bride's family has so much money that they can afford buying an extravagant white dress that she will wear it once.
The white dress haven't symbolized purity and innocence from the beginning, these appeared afterwords in the Western culture. Now the meaning and the symbol of a white dress has changed once again and it's considered to express joy and happiness rather than bridal purity. Even if you have been a bride, once or fifth times before choosing a second white wedding dress is a true personal decision. Nobody should judge you if you do but be prepared if they do.
If it's easier for you to wear something else than white there are other light alternatives as: ivory, ecru, blush, beige, cream, Lila and many others Not all brides look great in white but all brides want to look amazing on their wedding day, so you should wear something that will fit your body perfectly.

Maybe you've heard this one as well: Don't wear a veil! This one is a little complicated and trickier. While you can decide for all the wedding features, it is really considered of poor taste is a second bride wears a veil. Veiling your face a as a bride is the proper action for first time brides, but if you really want a veil you can wear a small veil. It has to be appropriate to the style of your whole second wedding dress. Something fancier and more appropriate for a second bride is a nice hat or a beautiful headpiece that has to be very well coordinated with the second wedding dress.
If you've just talked about the veil then it's a good opportunity to tell you about the wedding train. It is said that a second wedding dress shouldn't have a train. This feature should exist in the case of first time brides. But fortunate for you most wedding specialists say that a small wedding swoop can be accepted. What it really counts about a woman's second wedding dress is to be exactly what she likes. Here are some tips that you should take into consideration before buying the second wedding dress:
Your wedding theme. Respect your wedding theme.
The formality or informality of the event.
The time of the day the event takes place.
Should you buy something you can wear after the wedding; or you should go for something really bridal?
There are other rumors that you as a second bride should wear a suit. Who says this? Can a suit be the best choice for you; to wear it instead of a second wedding dress? If the answer for this question is yes, then yes, you should wear a suit, but if it's no, then go for a second wedding dress. Feel feminine and beautiful in a dress if this is what you want.
When going to buy the second wedding dress, there are some important things you should take with you at the salon. Things like: a best friend, your mum or someone close to you and your high heels that you intend to wear at the wedding.
A second wedding is a new beginning; try to see it like this if you don't share this opinion. A second wedding dress should be exactly what you wish for. I'm not saying that you shouldn't care at all about the non-written laws about second weddings, I'm just saying that you should be creative and you should find a way to do what you want without entering on dangerous ground. Take time for finding your perfect second wedding dress. Be patient and you will see the positive results.
