Modernism in wedding dresses industry can mean simple and elegant as well as sexy and attractive. Red wedding dresses are part of both categories actually, because there are lots of ways to design a red wedding dress. As white wedding dress is considered to be a preconception, red wedding dress has its own critics as well.

The preconception regarding the red wedding dresses is that this particular dress is meant to make brides look too provocative and shameful because lots of them are trying to look sexy and show as many skin as possible. But there is nothing wrong with looking sexy except for the brides who prefer to vamp look instead of the feminine bridal look.
But as long as brides are free to dress anyway they like, no one can argue about this subject. The one thing that isn’t true about red wedding dresses is that they are just sexy and “trampy”. There are lots of red wedding dresses that embody a classic design, with stylish and elegant cuts and embroideries. Depending on how a bride feel good with herself, and knows what looks best on her body, a red wedding dress can be both sexy and elegant.
There are lots of other colors that suit perfectly with the modern bridal look such as green, blue, pink, navy, beige, orange, turquoise, black or brown. There are no rules that say what color is best for a wedding dress. There are lots of disputes with arguments and counter arguments to the red wedding dress without anyone being able to decide what the true color of a wedding dress is. It’s all very clear that white is the traditional color for wedding dresses and red is a modern vogue color usually used by the contemporary brides. But even this is not an idea firmly rooted within the minds of critics because red is as traditional as white is in some regions of the world.

Different countries dress their brides in red for many years because of traditional beliefs. For example in China, India, Japan or even American Revolution period admitted the red wedding dress as the traditional bridal outfit. Lots of generation of brides wore the red wedding dress as a symbol of love, union, innocence and sacral beliefs. The issue is that the red wedding dresses are competing very close with the traditional white of bridal dress and it started to gain more and more followers among young and modern brides.
