If modern wedding dresses mean adding color or flowers and other appliques, than I’ll have to say NO and to go for the traditional type of wedding. I find that a wedding dress, modern or not, should be elegant and nice, but still simple, comfortable. In my view, a wedding dress, even a modern one, is still long but with some different cuts and lines. I would like a modern dress that would have a very unique neck line, for example. And then, a very modern embroidery would be the aspect would make me buy the dress. I think that embroideries are the element that gives the dress it’s charm and beauty and not the appliques. And the more exquisite and more refined the embroidery, the more beautiful and modern the dress is going to be.
