Light wedding dresses
Not all brides dream of wearing a voluminous elaborated ball gown wedding dress on the big day, but something more easy-going and light-weight. This is the case of brides-to-be who are planning a destination wedding on a beach, on an island or anywhere else in the middle of the nature. Garden weddings, as well as park or back yard weddings are also very popular these days and it seems that the best outfit for the happy bride that can complement these natural locations is a
light wedding dress. Unfortunately, there are many brides who believe that a light weight casual wedding dress is rather simple and plain than elegant and outstanding.
Nowadays, most modern wedding dresses are created with a casual design that is able to provide the bride with the maximum comfort during all the wedding ceremonies. Assuming a simple informal
light wedding dress doesn’t mean that you have to settle for less or sacrifice the beauty and elegance of the dress. Destination brides who are going on a beach wedding are somehow “forced” to adopt a casual simple style because of the hot sunny weather and because of the sandy shore where the wedding is going to take place. But these wedding circumstances are not able to modify the bride’s look in a wrong bad way.

The style of the dress has to be a little bit more simplistic, light-weight, informal and unsophisticated just for the bride to be able to move and walk through the sand and dance properly or have a good time at the night or evening wedding reception. The simplicity of the dress’s lines and cuts are only there to provide the bride with the necessary comfort and practicality during the wedding.

The materials that are usually chosen for these types of dresses are extremely airy, ethereal and woolly in order to give the bride a breezier flowing feel and look. Among the most popular types of fabrics used in creating these
light wedding dresses for the beach or for any other natural wedding location are: organza, cotton, crepe, charmeuse, tulle, lace, chiffon, silk, batiste, duchesse satin, crochet or gauze.
You can make your choice from many other types of materials because these are only a few examples of the most common ones incorporated in general in informal wedding dresses. The length of a light wedding dress can also be a little more practical and comfortable for the bride.
You can find ankle length light wedding dresses, tea length wedding dresses, knee length wedding dresses, above the knee wedding dresses or even short mini wedding dresses. If you’re interested in something more appealing and unconventional or simply remarkable and more unique, then you would surely like a high-low hemline light wedding dress.

It’s the exact situation I tend to avoid at my wedding: having lots of people helping me with the dress. Why having a long train when everything it does is to make you uncomfortable and give you only headaches? That’s why I want my wedding dress ankle lengthy or at least without a train. As for the rest of it, it has to be very light and to follow all my curves. Something like the second dress here. I love it! The fabric, the line, the embroidery. And the way it covers and at the same time uncovers the body is exceptional. That’s it! this is the one I must have on my wedding day. So nice you post it here.
