Ivory layered wedding dresses
A white wedding dress can definitely emphasize best the innocent and the pure natural look of a bride, but there are other non-white wedding dresses that can highlight even more the beauty of the bride. Besides the fact that a colored wedding dress or a wedding dress with color can make a personal choice for a bride who wishes to differentiate herself from the rest of the white wedding dress kind of brides, in most cases, a white gown might not fit the skin or the pigment of the bride.
For brides with a paler whitish skin tone the white dress might not look that good as it looks on a bride with a darker pigment. A white wedding dress on a super white skin could make the bride look totally vapid, faded, pale, and perhaps even ill or something like that. For these types of pigment an ivory wedding dress can represent a better alternative choice. In this same repertory: champagne colored wedding dresses, beige, ecru, cream, blush or peach colored wedding dresses.

An ivory wedding dress can look beautiful on both pale and tanned skin tone brides. For a fall wedding, for a spring time or for a sensual exquisite beach luxuriant wedding an ivory wedding dress can make a gorgeous apparition. Brides can also opt for an ivory wedding dress for a second marriage.
There are many brides though who consider this shade to be too simple, unsophisticated and unattractive for a wedding day. Well, in order to make it more dramatic, serious and appropriate for a more formal and elegant wedding, one can add a few ruffled, layers, frills or tiers. Nowadays the vast majority of the modern brides are voting for a layered wedding dress instead of a simple sheath dress that can be more appropriate for a beach wedding.

Not only the skin tone, but the body shape and the type of fabric used can influence the choice of white shades of a wedding dress For example, myself. Whenever I wear white, I look more voluminous than I am. If I wear a glittery type of fabric, the same, it’s very un-chic for me. So I decided I wore another tone of white at my wedding. Ad I think ivory is one of the most suitable colors for me. As for the type of dresses, of course that I chose layers. And from what I see here, I can get some inspiration. However, the one that really made me pay attention to it is the first one, though I’ve seen more beautiful dresses elsewhere on the site and all over the web.
