Informal feathered wedding dress for outdoor weddings

Most off the beat brides are attracted to more creative and artistic kind of wedding dresses that can emphasize their unique sense of aesthetics and modern fashion.

There are many modern wedding dress designs, cuts and lines or patterns that are quite simple, refined, soft and dainty, just to fit the casual practical 2010 bride. But these simple and clean contemporary wedding dresses can be enriched or adorned with all kinds of frills, tiers, ruffles, layers and embroideries in order to make them more appealing, more creative, more unique and fanciful in their own beauty.

One of the most eye-catchy, provocative and yet pretty elegant, stylish and chic is the feathered wedding dress or the wedding dress with feathers.

Feathers are back in the game now that so many weddings are planned with a vintage old style theme. The antique look of a bride can be obtained with the simple use of feathers. They can be incorporated into a wedding dress following a certain pattern or a certain theme. Peacock wedding dresses are in big vogue this year, but not all the brides can afford to purchase and wear such an amazing expensive wedding dress.

But in the end, the final price of such a dress only depends on how many feathers or ruffles you decide to incorporate in the dress. If you decide to add only a few stems of feathers here and there, the price will definitely be more reasonable.

These types of wedding dresses are more then suitable for summer outdoor weddings organized in a more intimate and casual style or perhaps in a more sophisticated and elegant way. An informal feathered wedding dress for an outdoor wedding can play both a casual role and a semi-formal role, depending on the amplitude of the wedding, on the final location, set, theme, style and color-scheme of the event.

The most beautiful feathered wedding dresses are those white ones. No matter how trendy and in vogue colored wedding dresses are, white feathered wedding dresses are definitely a spectacular, a truly romantic, exquisite, refined and soft to the eye view.

The design of the dress depends on the personal style, preference, body figure and vision of each type of bride in part. Mermaid or siren style feathered wedding dresses are among the most popular one, while the A-line or the empire waist line feathered wedding dresses are also hot and trendy for this year. The neckline can feature an off the shoulders design, a modern asymmetrical one shoulder design, a spaghettis strap, a halter, a strapless sweetheart, a high neck or perhaps a corset design.

One can opt for a summer short informal feathered wedding dress for an outdoor wedding, especially since the weather is hot and the natural setting requires a more comfortable, practical, cozy and easy to move in bridal outfit.

I also think the most beautiful dresses with feathers are the white ones. They remind of swans, which I consider one of the most beautiful and elegant birds to exist. And brides want to look beautiful and elegant and so soft. I think this is why I like feathers so much in clothes. They give the impression of softness, of something very light weight and so serene. But I wouldn’t like to wear a dress that has too many or too big feathers. I think my style is closer to the first dress you posted here, with those frail feathers as sleeves. And I think feathers are very fit for an informal garden wedding, which I am planning.
