Flower motif wedding dresses

Nature inspired wedding dresses as well as Victorian 19th century wedding dresses seem to be in big vogue these years. The number of the brides who are turning to refined, intricate and yet soft and delicate embroidered wedding dresses with flowers, bows, ribbons and jewels is getting wider and wider with every single wedding season.

Flower motif wedding dresses are becoming more and more appreciated, desired, sought-after and chosen by both modern and traditional brides.

The flowers will always represent a romantic inspired motif to incorporate in a wedding dress, especially since they are so important and vital in a bride’s one day life.

Flowers are there to beautify the whole wedding day, make the atmosphere more inviting, elegant, natural and sweet, and provide the bride with the necessary romantic décor to be able to feel special, unique and one of a kind on the day.

Nowadays we get the chance to see more and more whimsical types of wedding dresses that are simple at the base but with a modern discreet and chic twist. The flower motif wedding dress is one great example in this sense. As you can see from the pictures, the flower appliqués can be incorporated in the dress as complex, lavish and elaborated or simple as you want to.

One can find simple flower motif wedding dresses meant to fit a beach destination wedding location, while the extravagant brides can choose something more sophisticated, intricate and perhaps whimsical, perfect for a dramatic wedding.

The flowers can be applied on the neckline of the dress, on the straps, on the bodice, waist, skirt, hem or train. There are numberless ways to beautify a wedding dress with floral motifs.

You just need to pick the one that represents or reflects your style, personality and vision, or that fits within the theme, formality, location and season of the wedding. The flowers can be colored or simply white, depending on what color scheme or theme you’re going to plan for the wedding event and décor in general.

You will be able to find wedding dresses with big flower bloom appliqués or those with delicate and refined multi-flower patterns where the 3-4 flowers are placed in certain circular, diagonal, horizontal or vertical patterns.

The flower motif wedding dress can be expressly worn on a wedding day that is going to take place in the middle of the nature such as in a botanical romantic garden, in a big public park, on an open field, on a beach, island or in a country side. The most popular types of wedding dresses featuring flowers are: one shoulder strap flower motif wedding dresses, mermaid flower motif wedding dresses, sheath simple beach flower motif wedding dresses, 19th century wedding dresses, Greek style flower motif wedding dresses, off the shoulders flower motif wedding dresses or ball gown strapless flower motif wedding dresses.

As far as I can tell from these two photos and from your article, flower motifs can be applied to a wedding gown or they can be printed on a wedding gown, right? I’ve actually seen a lot of flower printed wedding gowns but I think they lack that something that would make them wedding gowns. More suitable are these kind of lowers that are sewn to the dress. As far as the fabric is concerned, I have to say I love the effect the second dress acquires. I also like the cuts and the original voluminous skirt. But I know you need to be very careful with those flowers. Unless they are well sewn, they will fall off. And nobody wants to stay on the wedding day to pick up artificial flowers.
