The best way to obtain the cheerful, nonchalant, artistic and original antique chic look of the vintage era you must definitely plan a colored wedding dress. The color can be incorporated only in the ruffles of the dress, only in the neckline, in the waist lien – thorough a colored sash, waist band, ribbon or belt, or in the hemline or skirt of the dress. One can also choose to wear a bicolor vintage wedding dress, where the bodice is differently nuanced from the skirt. But the most popular ones are fully colored vintage wedding dresses.
Among the most suitable and fashionable colors that are usually chosen to express the vintage era and style are: lime green, sage green, vintage mate orange, buttercup yellow, plum, scarlet red, pale baby blue, navy blue, pale pink, blush, magenta, turquoise, teal, peach, beige, chocolate brown, champagne, ecru, ivory, light violet, mauve, purple, eggplant, coffee brown or black. The ruffles are still popular in modern styles and they can be seen incorporated in all kinds of contemporary lace, tulle or chiffon wedding dresses, in diagonal, horizontal and vertical patterns.

Colored, ruffled, vintage, the three adjectives that I want my wedding dress to be described by. I am planning a vintage wedding but I love ruffles. And I also like colored wedding dress more than the white ones. In fact, why should all brides wear white if white doesn’t make them look good? White doesn’t make me look good at all. So I opted for color for my wedding. All colors are accepted, but for white, pink and black. So when I will find the dress that could be described by these three adjectives, I don’t care if it is green or red, I’ll take it. The only dresses that I think match this article are the two dresses on the catwalk. Those are great vintage dresses. And the one in the left is my favourite.
