Cocktail Dresses For Wedding

Many brides of today are using two wedding dresses for the big wedding day, one for the religious wedding ceremony and the other one for the wedding reception party. This is the case of those wealthy brides who can afford to spend money on tow different wedding dress for a once in a lifetime occasion.

If the ceremony wedding dress is more elaborated, fluffy, ruffled, intricate, layered and more voluminous, then the bride has to buy a second one, more practical, for the wedding party.

The purpose of a cocktail wedding dress, more suitable for the reception party is to make the bride feel more comfortable, causal, loose, able to breath properly, to move and dance on the floor. If you’re stacked with a huge ball gown wedding dress to the evening party reception, then the chances of having a good time are consistently reduced. In general, a cocktail wedding dress is shorter than the religious ceremony wedding dress, more sexy, attractive, sleek and chic.

Most brides who buy a cocktail wedding dress especially for the night wedding party are usually choosing a tea-length, knee-length or an above the knee dress that will make them feel more comfortable, relaxed and able to move properly. The idea of a cocktail wedding dress is also to make the bride look more feminine, sensual, eye-catching and stylish. There are lots of colors available for 2010 cocktail wedding dresses.

Brides can choose from two main groups of colors: the pastel or skin toned ones, such as light, pale or baby pink, emerald, lime or olive green, peachy, pale yellow, egg-white, light blue, turquoise or cream, or the bolder, dynamical and dramatic ones, such as purple, hot pink, fuchsia, burgundy, scarlet red, deep or burnt orange, forest green, bright yellow, deep maroon or black.

If you’re looking for a fashionable trendy en vogue cocktail wedding dress then you could choose a sensual and sexy chic short length or a mini party dress, with a low back, one-shoulder, halter or strapless or high neckline, embellished with lavish bows, pearls, ruffles or diamonds. It’s best to avoid floor kissing dresses with long sleeves and multi-layers because they will prevent you from moving, breathing and dancing properly.

If the wedding reception is held outdoors then you can cover your arms and shoulders with a fashionable and chic bolero, mini jacket or with a matching shawl or wrap to protect you from the chilly weather. Whatever you choose, keep it casual, simple and clean and yet stylish, chic, feminine and stunning. Black and white cocktail wedding dresses are at rage this year because they make the most good looking and refined choice for classy, retro, vintage, gothic or chic wedding affairs.

I definitely wan something like the first dress here. I like the gray and the black embroidery and I have a shawl that would fit perfectly. I never wore the shawl because i didn’t have matching clothes, it’s about time I bought something that would fit. I like the line of the dress a lot as it is so simple and comfortable. The sash seems to be changed, if I wanted a more vibrant color and it is very easy to accessorize. After all, this wedding I’m attending came unexpectedly and I have to find something cheap that can be matched with shoes and jewels and the rest that I already have. This dress here is because of this the right one.
