Gold is renowned as a sleek shade that stands for power, flame, fire, prosperity, wealth, glory, health, energy, brightness, style, class, boldness and richness. Brides who decide to wear a black and gold wedding dress should be aware of the fact that they’re expressing a symbol of high class and fortune. But it all depends on how much golden shades you want to incorporate in your wedding dress.
If you’re interested in looking more mysterious, sensual, unusual, stylish, chic, dainty and feminine, you can wear a predominant black wedding dress. Plan a more extravagant, luxurious and exquisite Gothic or Renaissance wedding and wear an enchanting black and gold wedding dress. Use gold in tiny and subtle accents, and don’t exaggerate otherwise you could obtain a too pompous and showy look.
You can incorporate gold through different sashes, ribbons, lavish bows, flower bulbs or blooms, bandanas, embroideries, appliqués or patterns. In general, brides who decide o wear a wedding dress with color, incorporate the color accent in the neckline of the dress, in the sleeve line, underlying the bust line or the waist line, in the dress following different patterns, in the hem line or in the back of the dress.

If you’re looking for a more natural, casual and simple appearance, choose an informal design following an off-the-shoulders neckline or a high neckline and a low back black and gold wedding dress that is more suitable for outdoor weddings. In general, gold is perfect for a winter wedding atmospheres when the festive, cheerful, sparkling and brilliant mood is more present than ever.
It seems that i ma not an unconventional bride after all. i like gold and I like black and when I first met my husband to be I was wearing a black and gold dress. We met at a fancy reception. So I thought i would use this combination at the wedding as well. But seeing the dresses using this combination i think they are not quite what i want. they are not as charming as i thought. I think I have no other alternative but to wear two dresses at the wedding, one for the ceremony and one for the reception. the one for the reception s going to be gold with black, the one for the ceremony is going to be white . with gold. I think is the only possible solution for me

The black and gold wedding dresses are just great! Indeed, the informal design following an off-the-shoulders neckline or a high neckline and a low back black and gold wedding dress are more suitable for the outdoor weddings. But I could choose such a wedding dress for an indoor wedding too.
