Belt wedding dresses

In case you’re feeling more motivated by a wedding dress with color, a belt wedding dress might represent an inspired option that you could take into account when going shopping.

Not everybody is satisfied with wearing a diamond clear white wedding dress just to accomplish the rule, the tradition and the popular conventions settled in this sense. A white wedding dress is no longer the first top choice for many modern brides who are interested in dressing up a bit more attractive, sexy, outstanding and unique on the big wedding day.

The idea of incorporating color into a white wedding dress is not very fresh but not  very rotten in the minds and hearts of the modern brides either. Nevertheless, the number of those unconventional brides who decide to finally go with a colored wedding dress or with a wedding dress with color is constantly increasing with every wedding season or year that passes.

The color can bring more sensuality and light, more vibrancy, more cheerfulness and distinctiveness to a white wedding dress making the bride look more original and different from the rest of the contemporary crowd of brides.

The belt wedding dress refers to white wedding dresses beautified or adorned with a waist band, a ribbon or a sash that features a certain coordinated color that can complement the theme or the color scheme of the wedding event overall.

But it’s not necessary for the belt to be colored, although a bold dynamic nuance can make the wedding dress look more surprising and eye-catchy. We said belt because not only ribbons and sashes or bands can be tied around the bride’s waist, but also straps or belts with buckles or with flowers. The vast majority of the belt wedding dresses can be seen with flowers, bows, monograms or with any other jeweled symbol or accessory. The belt can be tied in the front of the wedding dress more in a side, or it can be worn with the knot in the back of the dress.

Most belt wedding dresses are made from lace, gauze, tulle, silk, cotton or ruffles, but any other light weight or woolly draping material can host a waist band or a belt. For brides who wish to emphasize the waist line or perhaps the bust line (if the wedding dress features an empire waist), the belt can be a very beautiful and efficient way to do that.

In general, belt wedding dresses are either A-line, princess style or mermaid style, sheath style, empire waist, tea length or short ball gown or prom style. If the bride is looking for a more practical and casual loose feel and look, then a modern belt wedding dress with pockets can really help them feel comfy and make a statement on the wedding day.

believe it or not, I am not looking for a wedding dress. Just for an idea of a belt and belt type that can be worn with a wedding dress. And exactly with what kind of wedding dress. So your article enlightened me a little bit and at the same time it gave me the best idea for a belt. I found the belt that I really like and that I never thought would match a wedding dress. But it does. The last picture you posted, where you cannot see the whole dress… I can see a sort of symmetry there. The flower and the pleated upper part resemble the center piece and the leaves of the belt. I like it that the belt is not white and it is plaited. It is so chic.
