Ballerina length wedding dresses Washington Dc

The modern playful bride who wants to plan a more cheerful, funny and funky old style wedding should consider a ballerina length wedding dress for a truly sensational and one of a kind look. It seems that the number of the contemporary brides-to-be who are choosing a vintage wedding dress over a modern wedding dress is growing season by season.

Nowadays the wedding dress must be an inspiration for the watcher and a true example of art, creativity and fashion. The modern wedding dress must be a devoted expression of elegance, high class, refinement and style. And besides all these new features of the modern dress, it must also complement the bride’s innocent natural look, and add more glamour, splendor, sophistication and daintiness without making the bride feel like she’s trying too hard to look outstanding.

The ballerina length is surely a good choice for retro kind of brides who are planning a more artistic and old style themed wedding in the ‘20s or in the ‘40s or ‘60s style.

The ballerina length usually touched or reaches the ankles of the bride’s legs, but the exact length of each ballerina length wedding dress in part depends on each type of bride in part. The length can be made especially for the bride’s height and silhouette or allure, so it can be longer or shorter.

No matter how simplistic, funny, casual and practical this type of dress looks, it is made to suit a more formal, even dramatic wedding. But even the most casual relaxed modern bride can opt for a sexy chic comfy ballerina length wedding dress and wear it on an informal wedding affair.

There is a unique visible elegance conferred by this type of length that it is reflected in the overall appearance of the bride. This style is special and sweet, refined, quite sophisticated, timeless romantic and coquette. Besides all these qualities, a ballerina length wedding dress has other advantages that a “regular” full length wedding dress escapes.

One of them would be related to the fact that this length allows the bride to expose her sweet whitey shoes! If most of the wedding dresses hides the bridal shoes, this type of dress is happy to make them visible in all of their splendor. In fact, the whole bride’s vintage look depends on the visibility of the shoes. The whole outfit must be at sight, where the dress, the gloves, the headpieces and the shoes go hand in hand together in a perfect unified and chic whole.

Usually, the skirt used in this style is full and a bit more voluminous in order to compensate for the lack of material from the ankles all the way down to the floor. For casual outdoor weddings a ballerina length wedding dress (also called the tea length wedding dress) can make a magical choice! Funny, unpredictable, coquette, flirty, sexy, practical, commodious, feminine, nonchalant, bohemian, funky and wild, a ballerina length wedding dress can make the ideal outfit for the sleek ’50s or ’60s vintage Washington Dc bride and wedding.

One Response to Ballerina length wedding dresses Washington Dc

  1. Lucy says:

When I was a little girl I dreamed of becoming a ballerina. I couldn’t because of objective reasons, but I always loved ballet. I like the elegance of a ballerina and the dresses which are always so soft and full of life, I can say. So ever since the ballerina theme became one that followed me in life and was present for every important event. And now that I’m going to wed, you can understand that a ballerina kind of dress is what I wish to wear. These dresses you chose to post here are wonderful. They are so fit for what I wish and they also fit like any age a bride would be. But the one I would wear for my wedding is the last one, with the bride leaning against the wall. It’s the most elegant of all.
