The vast majority of fashion designers of today are interested in sculpting the wedding gown in order to fit the impetuous temper of the modern bride and her new high expectations and vision of the perfect wedding dress. Lots of things have changed in the industry of wedding dresses and it seems that we are now witness a huge twist in style that comes closer to art.

In the images posted on this page you get the chance to admire a few examples of artistry wedding dresses signed by Devota & Lomba bridal house, made for the recent bridal collection of 2010. We find these creations totally outstanding, eye-catchy, original, creative and inspiring. Perhaps they won’t be able to suit every single bride on the globe but they will certainly suit the taste of many off the beat brides who want the voguish vanguardist look for the big day.

We can observe how the lines get more and more extravagant, daring and provocative, while the cuts are even more spectacular and unpredictable. Everything is so unconventional and unusual because the modern brides need that slice of uniqueness when it comes to her innovative style wedding dress. You can surely find all the originality in the world in these whimsical extraordinary masterpieces signed by Devodat & Lomba. Even the most exigent bride who wants the classy look can find a beautiful strapless artistry wedding dress that can fit and flatter her individuality, her vision and her figure.
Brides who are planning on going vintage can also find ravishing and breath-taking artistry wedding dresses beautified with ruffles, frills, flounces and multi-layers that manage to provide the bride with a rich feminine and playful chic appearance.

The skirts are flowing, circular, straight or paper-like origami cut, while the necklines and the hemlines are asymmetrical. One of the most beautiful and visible influence that these artistry wedding dresses present is the pleated style made on the whole surface of the dress or only at the neck or bottom. The embroideries are simple, discreet and pretty feminine (silk ribbons, airy flower patterns or appliqués).
I always loved art and I always liked the idea of wearing something unique, something that tends to a certain line, but in fact it isn’t. Something that might make you say “this looks like a flower, but it isn’t”. So this artistic style the designers present here might fit me just well. And I like all these extravagant dresses here. I might wear something similar at my own wedding. But the one that I really like, because it’s exactly as I’ve mentioned above, is the last one here. So, in the first bottom picture there are two dresses. I like the one with spaghetti straps. And not because of the straps, but because of the multiple cuts that try to make a sort of pattern. I find it the most extravagant and the most artistic.
