In general, these types of dresses look wonderful in vintage inspired weddings or in retro funky themed weddings overall.

The 2010 bride is a bit more relaxed, more rocl’n’roll and ready to make a statement on the big wedding day. The wedding day is not all about the innocence, the purity, the formal elegance and the rigorous sophistication anymore.

These days, the contemporary bride is free to wear any type of dress that she wants, as long as she respects her personal style, lifestyle and vision. It’s ok to follow your own style all the way to the wedding day and choose something that really represents you and that can speak more of you and your way of living and understating love, romance and life in general.

A shorter wedding dress is more suitable in general for those brides who are bold enough to expose their legs and still feel proud and happy with the way they look. The 2010 short ruffled wedding dress is definitely an inspired and appropriate dress choice for daring unconventional brides who are ready to assume their style.

The length of the dress will always depend on the formality of the wedding, on the location, season and perhaps style or theme of the wedding. If you are willing to go above the knees, just do it! You will be able to find a lot of unique and charming 2010 short ruffled wedding dresses that you will love and still adore after your wedding it’s over.

If you like the idea of wearing a short ruffled wedding dress on the day but you’re not fully convinced that the above the knees length is what you really made for, why not try a tea length short ruffled wedding dress!

These styles are definitely made to suit the vintage style bride and the retro themed weddings in general. The ruffles can be made from tulle, lace, organza, illusion net, gauze or form any other sheer fabric that will make the dress feel and look light-weight, breezy, airy and ethereal. Destination brides when looking for dresses for beach weddings are usually picking the short ruffled wedding dress style.

Is the trend still on? Can I wear a short ruffled wedding dress this year as well? I want to do it, but I don’t want to be considered old fashioned already. I want to have a very casual, garden wedding and for that I thought a short wedding dress is the most appropriate. Since I love ruffles, they cannot miss from my dress and they have to be really chic and special. I think that to fit the décor I need to wear the second white dress from the row of pictures there. The pink one would be fitter, but I don’t want it pink, I want it white. So if I found it all white, I would buy it.
